Debbie Deyarmond, owner and operator of Deer Country Hideaway,
comes from a background in the Corporate world. She spent 26 years working
in Halifax and while she enjoyed the fast pace corporate city life, she longed for her
own B&B in the country. Debbie spent three years as an assistant manager in the accommodation industry and then her dream came true in November 2003 when she was able to purchase her dream of Deer Country Hideaway. Debbie thrives in planning and organizing retreat packages, loves cooking, knows that laughing is the key to feeling better no matter what ails you and most of all-enjoys meeting all the people who find their way to her establishment.

Janice Hunter, published author of “The Dream Girls” is living her dream as a fulltime writer. She has study group and has presented numerous workshops on the topics of dreams and discovering your life’s purpose. She is the founder of the Atlantic Fellowship Conference and former Study Group Coordinator for Atlantic Canada. She is a member of Edgar Cayce Canada, The International Association of Writers, Romance Writers of America, Romance Writers of Atlantic Canada, and the Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia. Janice lives in rural Nova Scotia with her husband Rick, where she is currently working on her next novel.

Kim Galley, BN RN, graduated from Dalhousie University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Nursing degree. She divides her time between being a staff nurse in Neurology at the Halifax Infirmary and doing advanced foot care in the community. During her free time Kim and her husband, Tom are busy raising four young adults and serving as door-people to a varied assortment of household pets.

Sarah Scott, Esthetician and owner of her mobile business, studied at Marvel College Institute of Esthetic Services and Hair Design in Alberta where she earned her Certificate of Qualified Esthetic Service. Mary Boutilier, is a well known spiritual councellor and medium. She is blessed with the ability to do accurate readings as well as being a medium. Her readings are meant to heal and assist with the clients chosen path in life. At no time are messages of death or trauma given.
